DNA is also unavailable, but the car seems to be running okay. Clearly, I'll need to have a word with the dealer but wondered if anyone had any ideas. It is possible to calibrate it in situ so I'm led to believe. The actual position may well change from sensor to sensor as it will have been calibrated at the manufacturers. So past few weeks i've been dealing with an issue regarding the auto start stop system. I got the message "auto/stop start unavailable" and would have a yellow light illuminated in the dash. Went in to the dealership and they cleared the code from the computer. The start stop system worked for maybe 5 cycles then quit working again but no message. It uses a radio frequency method to identify the fob. This process will NOT recharge the battery in the fob. The battery in the fob is a 3V battery.
